So, I spent Friday shopping with some friends. We had a great time, lots of girlie fun. Naturally the day started at the spa, with a facial, massage, manicure and spa pedicure. Then, it was off to the shops. We love going downtown because the department stores are great but it’s interspersed with quaint little locally owned shops that have things you won’t find in the rack places. Naturally, Nordy’s was on the list. The half yearly sale, no less. This is one sale you don’t want to miss if you like Nordstrom. They have this sale twice a year, hence the name. Then we hit Saks and a few other shops. My feet were killing me when I got home, what I would have given for a good foot slave<\/a>. This is why we start the day with a pedicure, it makes all the difference. It could have been much worse.<\/p>\n

But, as I was out shopping I was paying attention to the fashion trends for summer 2010 and thinking of all you panty boys and sissy girls<\/a>. Yes, I was thinking of you. The next thing I noticed was baring one shoulder with a blouse or dress. Well, it is summer and our shoulders are sexy and tan and glowing. So, why not show them off? Be sure to check out the tanning salons and choose a safe tanning bed. There are also spray tans available and many tanning salons will offer spray on tans. Many people get a spray on tan before heading out on a tropical summer vacation. So, go ahead, make that appointment.<\/p>\n

The last thing I noticed was gladiator type sandals. These are referred to as hooded sandals for the reason that they are open but they wrap up around the ankle. It’s a very funky bohemian look that I think is quite sexy. You can wear them flat or spike heels. Naturally, if you’re a true fashion diva, you’ll go for the stilettos. But, the choice is yours, girls.<\/p>\n
