Pain Play – BDSM on a Budget

As I’m sure a lot of you know, I adore inflicting pain. But, only if the receiving party adores receiving as much as I love inflicting. I’m all about consensual BDSM play, naturally. But, it occurred to me a few days ago while I was in the kitchen that there are so many items in most kitchens that can serve as double duty for the sado/masochist relationship. So, I thought I’d give you a list of some of them and how I like to kitchen tools for pain play.

Spatulas

Some people call them pancake turners and some people call them spatulas. Now, there is also a straight edged long thin spatula that a lot of people use for frosting a cake. I have one of those and I love it. It bends nicely and slaps very well also. Perfect for spanking an ass or a set of balls. The slapping of the metal against the skin is wonderful. Now, the type of spatula that we all use to stir or mix is also useful and if I’m inclined to reach for one of those, I’ll select the silicone version. Again, very resilient and useful plus it can pack a nice slap on the buttocks.

Chip Clips

I bet you didn’t think of these, did you? I’ve used these for years. They come in so many sizes and shapes. Sure, they’re great for sealing up a bag of your favorite potato chips, but they also make excellent nipple clamps. For the pain hungry slut out there, they can be placed on the testicles or even up and down the penis. The insides of the thighs are also a great place for a little pinching pleasure. Gone are the days of the clothespins. Chip clips have totally replaced them in my book.

Don’t Forget the Lube!

The last item in this list is actually two items that we all can’t do without, but we don’t often think of the kitchen in regard to this type of play. The first one is a large baster, also referred to as a turkey baster. Now, if you’re going to use one of these let’s keep it out of the kitchen after use and keep it strictly in the bedroom, k? I don’t care how much you sanitize that thing, I’m not going to use it in the kitchen again. But, they are fantastic for lubing up a submissive’s ass when the need arises; and the need does arise, as I like to use my strap on quite regularly. I would use regular lube, of course. Whatever you prefer is fine. But, if you’re looking for some soothing lube for that sensual after play that is a required and often overlooked element, I recommend olive oil. It’s wonderful for the skin. In fact, it’s rumored that Sophia Loren used to take baths in it. We all know how gorgeous she was, right? Olive oil can also be used for masturbation when you just simply have to have something slick and wet but you’re all out of K-Y.
