Inside My Make Up Case

So, you’ve been stuck for a few days with nothing but moisturizer and concealer on your face?  Not to worry, I’m back to give you the rest of the rundown on what’s in my makeup case.  First of all, I’m not talking about a little bag.  No, that would never do for a mistress.  I am talking about a train case.  They are wonderful and every girl should have one!  So, if you don’t have one, get one.

The other thing I insist on is good makeup brushes.  It doesn’t matter if you wear liquid foundation or powder, you should always use a brush.  Sponges are great for blending but putting your fingers on your face should be avoided unless it’s absolutely necessary.  I have a full set of wonderful brushes as well as cosmetic sponges.  They are wonderful tools and worth the investment.

Foundation

I use a mineral foundation but you can use whatever you like.  I adore the minerals because they are great for sensitive skin and you can even sleep in it!  For days when minerals just don’t seem to cover enough, use a little liquid foundation and go over it with the mineral makeup.

Eyes

Eyes seem to take the longest.  I use my eyeliner along the bottom lashes, but only to the middle of my eye if it’s a daytime look.  Make up Forever makes some of the best eyeliner pencils I have found.  They created them for the US Olympic synchronized swimmers so they stay put no matter what.  Always use an eye primer before applying shadow, it really does make a difference.  If you want to achieve that smoky eye look, check out youtube for videos or how to ideas.  Seriously, I learned how to do it that way!  Next up is your mascara.  Just put a dab on because you will want to use some false eyelashes to achieve that “big eye” look.  You might think they are too hard to deal with or you just don’t think you need them.  That’s fine.  But, I love falsies!

Cheeks

Next up is a bit of blush.  Again, I use  a mineral blush.  Choose the color that works best for your skin tone.  Don’t overdo it, just sweep the blush along your cheekbone and right underneath it.  That’s all you need, trust me.

Finishing Touches

You may want to pencil in your eyebrows and if you do I suggest you put the concealer over those brows, then pencil them in as a final touch.  Also, lip liners can give you a much fuller lip.  Just draw the lips you want right on your face and fill in with a color.  It’s really that easy.

If you’d like a transformation phone sex call where we can go over your makeup routine, I’d be more than happy to do that.  Just give me a call!
